A calmer way to treat a busy brain
The Neurofeedback Center for Tranquility helps people in Oklahoma City retrain the patterns behind anxiety, attention, and mood — without medication. Here's who we are, how we work, and what our clients say changes first.
Who we are
The Neurofeedback Center for Tranquility was built on a simple observation: most people don't want another pill to manage — they want their brain to work with them instead of against them. Our center exists to offer that path. We use neurofeedback, a well-established brain-training method, to help the brain practice the steadier rhythms that calm, focus, and balanced mood are made of.
We work with adults, teens, and children across a wide range of concerns — from ADHD and anxiety to the fallout of chronic stress. Some clients arrive after years of trying to feel better; others come simply because focus or sleep has quietly slipped. Every one of them starts the same way: with a free, honest conversation about whether training can help.
What clients often tell us they notice first isn't a dramatic change — it's a quieter one. Falling asleep easier. A morning that starts with energy. A hard moment that doesn't spiral. Those small shifts are the work, and they add up.
Our approach
What makes neurofeedback different from everything else you've tried
We train the brain, not chase symptoms
Rather than masking symptoms, neurofeedback addresses the brainwave patterns underneath them. The brain learns — session by session — the rhythms associated with calm focus, and it keeps what it learns, the way it keeps any skill it has practiced.
Measured, not guessed
Your training starts with a map of your brain's actual activity, not a questionnaire. Sessions target the specific patterns we see, and progress is tracked on real data — so you can see change, not just hope for it.
Medication-free by design
Nothing is put into your body. Sensors on the scalp read your brain's natural electrical activity and give it feedback — a learning process, not a stimulation procedure. And for clients who do take medication, training works alongside it; we coordinate with your existing care.
A plan built around your brain
No two brains organize the same way, so no two training plans are identical. Session goals, frequency, and pacing are adjusted to your map, your history, and how your brain responds — starting with an honest estimate at your free consultation.
What our clients come to feel
Everyone starts training for their own reason. These are the four changes people describe most often, and why they keep coming back.
Deeper sleep
The day starts at night. Clients consistently report falling asleep faster and waking more rested — often within the first weeks of training — because a brain that can stand down at night finally gets to recover.
Steadier focus
Attention stops being a fight. Reading a page once instead of three times, finishing what you start, sitting through a meeting without fighting your own restlessness — sustained focus becomes something your brain does by default.
Lighter mood
The heaviness lifts gradually, in both directions: more mornings with real energy, small pleasures landing again, and the critical inner voice getting quieter. Clients describe it as color coming back into ordinary days.
Everyday calm
The same stressful moments still arrive — traffic, deadlines, hard conversations — but they land differently. A wider gap between what happens and how you react, and a nervous system that knows how to come back down.
Start with a conversation
Every training plan starts with a free consultation — an honest conversation about your history, your goals, and whether neurofeedback is the right fit. No cost, no obligation.
